Rainbow and Tsumanga Studios to Develop WinX Club Game

Rainbow has entered into a partnership with Scotland-based game developer/publisher Tsumanga Studios in order to create a new girl-targeted virtual world game based on the Winx Club property. The planned Winx Club game will be made available in English, Italian, Russian, and French and will have ports in all the current generations of mobile phones, web browsers, and tablets.

The first Winx app in the project is scheduled to launch in spring next year, serving as a lead-in to the full massively multiplayer virtual world, which is slated for a fall 2013 launch. Created and produced by Rainbow, the Winx Club animated series is currently going strong with its fifth season, and is backed by a wide range of movies, DVDs, apparel, books, and even video games.
