Young Justice Returning for 3rd Season

It seems that Warner Bros has finally realized that benching the Young Justice series was a bad idea, seeing as to how many fans actually prefer said series to its tonally-lighter replacement. According to a recent announcement, Warner Bros. Animation is bringing the team back for an all-new season of animated superheroics.

The new season, which would be Young Justice’s 3rd at this point, will be produced by Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman and will once again feature the regular cast of characters, including Robin, Nightwing, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian, and a whole host of new characters that will join in on the fun.

“The affection that fans have had for Young Justice, and their rallying cry for more episodes, has always resonated with us,” said Sam Register, President, Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Digital Series. “We are excited to bring the show back for this loyal fan base and to provide an opportunity for new viewers to discover this excellent series.”

There’s still no release date for the return of Young Justice, but you can bet that we will be ready when it does.
