Yu-Gi-Oh! Returns to the Big Screen Next Month

This coming Sunday, March 11 and Monday, March 12 at 12:55pm and 7 PM respectively, Fathom Events and 4K Media will be bringing Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie back to the big screens via a limited screening of the 2004 anime film’s digitally remastered version. The limited engagement will cover 800 select movie theaters within the US and will also be preceded by a sneak peek at the first episode of the franchise’s sixth series, Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS.

Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie follows the protagonist Yugi as he confronts his nemesis Kaiba in an adventure that becomes even more dangerous when the imaginary monsters in their playing cards become ferociously real… and when an old evil enters the fray. Who will win this ultimate smackdown? Whether you’re a novice Duelist or a professional, you’ll want to watch and find out!

Tickets to the screening can be purchased at Fathom Events’ website or at the participating theaters, a list of which is provided at Fathom Events’ website.

“Anime titles continue to draw passionate audiences to cinemas nationwide,” said Fathom Events VP of Programming Kymberli Frueh. “We are proud to partner for the first time with 4K Media to bring Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie back to big screens across the country for a new era of fans to discover and enjoy.”
