Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal evolves on 4Kids Toonzai starting October 15th


Despite an ongoing legal dispute with Japanese partners, 4Kids Entertainment has decided to continue on with production of the English version of Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal. The series will air on the company’s CW4Kids Toonzai block, with a global debut set for 2012. The series will be the focal point of the company’s showcase at this year’s MIPCOM. There will be 52 episodes of the series available in high definition.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal – the latest animated Yu-Gi-Oh! series follows Yuma Tsukumo, a boy who has a mysterious being named Astral take place in his life after an intense duel. The series premiered earlier this year in Japan on TV Tokyo.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal debuts on the CW4Kids Toonzai block October 15, starting at 9:30AM EST. Don’t forget to check out local listing to see when it’s on at your house.
