While the film had to settle for just a nomination in “the big award,” Best Picture, Toy Story 3 did dominate the Best Animated Feature category, sending Lee Unkrich to the stage. Randy Newman, long time composer for Pixar’s CG films, was also honored for Toy Story 3’s song “We Belong Together.” It was the second time Newman received such an honor, having previously won a decade ago for Monsters, Inc.

Junichi Masuda says no "real" Pokemon game for Nintendo Wii

We wished it. We thought it. And this time around, we actually believed it. But, unfortunately, it seems like we got our hopes up over nothing, as it doesn’t look like there’s going to be a console-based Pokemon game for the Nintendo Wii. The buzz started when, a few weeks ago, Nintendo revealed they were working on a Pokemon project for the Wii. But now, in an interview between IGN and Junichi Masuda, co-founder of GameFreak and director of Pokemon Black & White, our dreams are dashed. At least for now. While we still think a “real” Pokemon game on a home console would be a thrill, it doesn’t seem the powers that be would agree with us. Take a look at Masuda’s full thoughts below, and let us know how you weigh in on the subject!
