Walt Disney to Expand “Cars” Property

It’s been five years since Walt Disney launched the first film in the Cars franchise, and since then, the CG animated movie about anthromorphic vehicles has become one of the studio’s most lucrative and popular franchises. Walt Disney has recently announced their plans to expand and support the Cars franchise by way of additional branded content and consumer-level merchandise. This involves new Cars animated shorts that are slated to appear as bonus content on DVDs as well as on the Disney Channel, Disney XD, and their other digital platforms. Beavis and Butt-Head Bonus Episode: Last Dudes on Earth

MTV is 100% behind the new season of Beavis and Butthead, and for good reason – it is currently Thursday’s #1 cable program in its time period among males aged 12 to 34, and is MTV’s second most watched show (the first is Jersey Shore). This week is extra special, as MTV will show back to back episodes of Beavis and Butthead, with the original airing at 10:00 PM, with the bonus episode being aired immediately after at 10:30 PM.
