PokePark 2: Wonders Beyond

For Wii owners who just can’t get enough Pokemon adventures, PokePark 2: Wonders Beyond is the perfect opportunity to go on another fun adventure with Pikachu and his pals.

In PokePark2: Wonders Beyond, players must work together with Pikachu and his pals Snivy, Oshawott, and Tepig as they try to solve the mystery of Wish Park and find their missing Pokemon pals. The game lets players control and switch between each Pokemon on the fly as well as use their unique abilities to solve puzzles and challenges along the way. Over the course of the adventure, Pikachu’s group will encounter Pokemon both old and new, as they traverse new areas and environments.

A new Spongebob Squarepants movie from Paramount is in the works, according to a recent announcement by Viacom president and CEO Philippe Dauman. The reveal was made during a Deutsche Bank media and telecom investor conference in Palm Beach. FL, and the official release date for the new movie is 2014.

We will be releasing a SpongeBob movie at the end of 2014, which will serve to start off or be one of our films that starts off our new animation effort,” says Dauman.

Thailand to get a Cartoon Network-themed Waterpark

People who are planning a trip to Asia should add Bang Saray (near Pattaya) off the east coast of Thailand to their itinerary, as Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific has announced plans to open the very first Cartoon Network-themed Waterpark in said area on 2013.

The resort will be called Cartoon Network Amazone, and will feature rides incorporating elements from Cartoon Network’s shows, such as Ben 10, The Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, and The Amazing World of Gumball. All of the rides will be set against a lush amazon rainforest-like backdrop (hence the name Amazone).

Universal’s Spiderman Attraction Gets Visual Enhancements

The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man attraction in Universal Orlando Resort is getting an animation upgrade. The web-crawler themed ride will soon feature all new 4K digital high definition animation, which is currently one of the highest HD resolutions available, as well as notable upgrades to the set, audio, and lighting systems. The music score will also be tweaked, and new 3-D “Spider-Vision” glasses will be used.

It seems that the first season of MTV’s animated comedy Good Vibes will be its last as well, as the network execs have decided not to order a second season of David Gordon Green’s creation. The cancellation happened after weeks of negotiation between MTV and Good Vibes’ producers. MTV expressed its support for the series, and even planned to pair the show with MTV’s live action comedy Awkward but the plan didn’t pan out.

On March 6, Shout! Factory in collaboration with Hasbro Studios will release Pound Puppies: Homeward Pound in DVD format. You can join Lucky, Squirt, Niblet, and the rest of the gang as they find a cute little puppy for every person, and a person for every cute little puppy.

Pound Puppies: Homeward Pound collects 5 fur-filled episodes of the 2010 original series. Produced by Paul and Joe Productions and Hasbro Studios, Pound Puppies follows a group of dogs that have gained humanlike intelligence. Banding together with a group of squirrels, they run a secret underground facility that aims to find orphaned or abandoned puppies (and sometimes even adult dogs) new owners. Their official motto: “A pup for every person, and a person for every pup”.
