#BTASonBluray – Kevin Conroy Interview at KCC on Batman Day

In honor of today’s Batman: The Complete Animated Series Deluxe Limited Edition release for Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, we are excited to say we have a copy, and we’re even more excited to share a very special Batman Day interview with Kevin Conroy from Keystone Comic Con in Philadelphia.

Kevin Conroy was Batman in Batman: The Animated Series, Justice League, Justice League: Action, various Batman Arkham video games, The Killing Joke, Batman and Harley Quinn and many more animated series, movies and video games. It’s really quite amazing that Kevin Conroy has been Batman in as many different things he has, and yet, there was still room for other actors to play Batman, like Jason O’Mara, Troy Baker, Roger Craig Smith, Will Arnett, Anthony Ruivivar, and many more! There’s a lot of great Batman stories out there and we love them all, but if you have to pick one actor who IS Batman, it’s Kevin Conroy. And after you see the following video, you’ll understand why he was picked to be Batman for Batman: The Animated Series, over 500 other people, and he’s been playing Batman ever since, spanning 27 years!

After seeing this interview, you’ll understand why we’re spending the rest of the week plowing through all of the content on these discs in the Batman: The Complete Animated Series Deluxe Limited Edition Blu-ray set. After we give it a good run-through, we’ll let you know what we think about the WHOLE thing!

While you are at it, check out our SDCC Interviews with the cast and crew of BTAS at this link:

Marc Morrell

I am a Big Fan of all types of animation. Like a lot of things, the cream always rises to the top. My favorites have included Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Rebels, anything Pixar, Phineas and Ferb, Voltron Legendary Defender, and the DC/WB Animated Films. I have a lot of Old School favorites as well, such as Star Blazers, Voltron, Looney Toons, Tom & Jerry, and Scooby Doo.
