The Panda Noodle Shop Game

The Panda Noodle Shop Game

It’s not exactly Po from DreamWorks Animations’ Kung Fu Panda series, but this lovable panda still gets the job done! That is, as long as you help him out and keep everything in check. And that begs the question: how good are you with noodles? Why do I ask? Well, in this game, you run a noodle shop, doing your best to look after your customers as you serve them the best noodles in the world. Sounds simple enough, but it gets complex – and quickly! Play for yourself, and see what we mean!

DreamWorks casts voices for Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom

Much work, study, and preparation is going into DreamWorks Animations’ upcoming film, Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom. The CG and 3D flick, sequel to the successful original Kung Fu Panda, is already known to feature the voice talent of returning stars like Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu, David Cross, and James Hong. Now, the producers have tipped that new voices joining the fray will include Gary Oldman, Michelle Yeoh, Jean Claude Van Damme, and Victor Garber, to name a few. Better yet, the original release date of June 3rd, 2011 has been upped a few days to May 27th, 2011 – only a few days closer, but we’ll take it!

Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, and Jack Black lead list of top voice talent

Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy, and Jack Black lead list of top voice talent

Forbes recently compiled a top 10 list of Hollywood’s Animation A-List; the voice actor’s who bring in the most attention, and most money, for their animated features. With the pheneomenal and enduring success of the Shrek franchise, it’s not difficult to see why Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, and Eddie Murphy are up there as Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey in the DreamWorks Animation pics, pulling in about $10 million a piece – potentially more in the upcoming Shrek Forever After. Kung Fu Panda’s Jack Black also edges towards the top, and will likely help kick that up a little further in the sequel, The Kaboom of Doom, scheduled to hit theaters summer 2011. Take a look at the full list

Kung Fu Panda: The Series starts production

Kung Fu Panda: The Series starts production

Nickelodeon has had tremendous success with the hit series The Penguins of Madagascar, based on the DreamWorks Animation film franchise Madagascar. Now, they’re taking that same logic and applying it to another DreamWorks movie, Kung Fu Panda, giving us the creatively named Kung Fu Panda: The Series. We’d heard about this awhile ago, but can now finally confirm that the show is in production. The series, which will be produced at Nickelodeon’s Animation Studios by Cheryl Holliday, hopes to grab at least special guest appearances of all the original movie cast, though the rumor now is they’ll be using sound-alikes to replace the celebrity voices, like Jack Black and Angelina Jolie. Nickelodeon and DreamWorks Animation are teaming up for another CG animated series. The last time the pair worked together, they brought us The Penguins of Madagascar, which started only a few weeks ago on March 28th. And because that worked out so well (it’s great!) they’re back to bring us a new toon called Kung Fu Panda: The Series! Based on DreamWorks Animation’s Kung Fu Panda, the show follows the adventures of Po, his mentor, and his pals, as they work to protect the Valley of Peace from evil.
