Exclusive TMNT Bebop and Rocksteady Action Figures Launched at Walmart

Even in the original 90s cartoon iteration of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the bumbling dynamic duo Bebop and Rocksteady were already the most popular villains, despite the fact that they aren’t exactly effective (not because they’re not strong – they are – but because they have the IQ of a rubber stopper.) The same might happen when the duo returns to the series to the fore via the current series on Nickelodeon, which is why it’s not surprising that Nickelodeon and Playmates Toys will be launching Bebop and Rocksteady action figures this month.

The catch? The launch is a Walmart exclusive. Mid-November, the two action figures will go on sale exclusively on Walmart, leaving your options limited if you want to get your mitts on these sweet, sweet figures.

Nickelodeon Preps Halloween-Themed Lineup

With Halloween right around the corner, Nickelodeon is getting ready to deliver the scares via a 2-day Halloween-themed programming lineup scheduled on Friday, October 17 and Saturday, October 18. The animated series that will participate include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Sanjay and Craig, Breadwinners, and Rabbids Invasion.

The scary line-up features the following episodes:

Seth Green Debuts as Leonardo in Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

This coming Friday, October 3 at 8:00 pm (ET/PT), actor/comedian and Robot Chicken co-creator Seth Green will be joining the voice cast of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for its 3rd season at Nickelodeon. Green will be lending his voice to the katana-brandishing, blue mask-wearing Leo starting in the season opener titled “Within the Woods.”

In Within the Woods, the team is only starting to come to grips with the possibility that Leonardo will not get any better when they are saddled with an even worse development: a new mutant appears and manages to capture Raphael.

VIDEO: New Episode of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – Into Dimension X

Nickelodeon has just released a new video clip from the next expisode of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which is scheduled to air this coming Friday, September 19, at 8:00 pm ET/PT. Titled “Into Dimension X!,” the episode allows Mikey to take center stage while the rest of the crew is out of the picture.

Even though the title “Into Dimension X!” kind of implies that the episode focuses on Dimension X, the episode actually delves more into Mikey’s penchance for always messing things up at home, which ends up being useful because when the Turtles are thrown for a loop due to the bizarre nature of Dimension X, Mikey’s leanings towards disorganization and chaos end up helping him figure the place out.

Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Returns Tonight

Fans of Nickelodeon’s latest take on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise should be glad to know that the hit animated series will be returning tonight, at 8:00 PM ET/PT, for new episodes from its 2nd action-and-hilarity-packed season. They seem to have started early on the Halloween-themed episodes, though. The new episode is titled “A Chinatown Ghost Story” and will star Donnie.

In “A Chinatown Ghost Story,” Donnie grows increasingly jealous of April and Casey’s relationship so he finds it the perfect opportunity when April is kidnapped by an evil spirit that wants to drain her of her powers.

WATCH: New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Clip

A new clip has been released for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, this time giving the four protagonists a time to shine on their own, as they try to run from the Foot Clan. There’s no cheesy narrative and no Megan Fox, just four mutated turtles running away from an army of ninjas armed with guns, only to come face to face with Shredder himself.

It’s not all action, though. There’s a little bit of silliness courtesy of a beatboxing routine and fans will appreciate the use of the classic catchphrase towards the end:

As a result of a critical mistake on Leo’s part, he is separated from the rest of the team and it is now up to Donnie to step up as leader of the team. You can check out the trailer below:

New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV Spot Hints at New Origin Story

Anyone who’s a fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles knows their origin: they were turtles that were accidentally mutated after exposure to the “ooze.” (which is said to be the same chemical from the same accident that gave Marvel’s Daredevil his powers.) but the latest TV spot for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film reboot hints at a new origin story, one in which the turtles were not the products of an accident, but intentionally created for warfare.
