Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas Special hits Fox November 24th

Fox will air new Ice Age Christmas Special on Nov 24

Fox TV is scheduled to premiere the new Ice Age Christmas Special on Nov 24 at 8 PM. The feature, entitled Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas Special, will have a 30 minute runtime and will be directed by Karen Disher. Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas Special follows Sid and Manny as they make their way to the North Pole, in a desperate attempt to make it up to Santa after finding out that they accidentally ended up on Santa’s naughty list. Even though it was made for TV and home video, the voice cast for the Ice Age Christmas Special will retain all the big names that the film had, such as Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Queen Latifah, Denis Leary, Josh Peck, Chris Wedge, and Sean William Scott. They will be joined by new (to the series) voice talents Billy Gardell, Ciara Bravo, T.J. Miller, and Judah Friedlander.

After the Fox TV premiere, Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas special will be released on Blu-Ray and DVD on Nov 26, with the MSRP of $14.99.

The Ice Age franchise has expanded even further than the actual, historical Ice Age did. With this holiday special and a new film hitting theaters next summer, Ice Age: Continental Drift, what is old is new again. Or, at least, what is cold is new again.
