We felt that Namco Bandai’s Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 was as good as it gets when it comes to Naruto fighting games, and that there’s nothing else left to do (particularly when they added the Bikini Tsunade costume, which everybody wanted, and the Sakura bikini costume, which nobody wanted). Fortunately, we were wrong as Namco Bandai has just announced that they will be releasing an update called Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, which will contain a whole slew of new features and extras, on October 22 in America.
Some of the new additions include a brand new chapter that has Sasuke and Itachi forming an uneasy alliance, a new playable Kabuto in Versus Mode, 100 new missions, and revamped mechanics.
If you Pick Full Burst up at retail, you’ll get a bonus 38 costumes from the Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 DLC and pre-order packs. If you already own the original, you can opt to upgrade your copy with Full Burst content via an upgrade pack downloadable on Xbox Live Arcade or the PlayStation Store, with final prices to be announced later.
…and here’s the super exciting news. PC players won’t be left behind this time around, as a PC version of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst will debut on Steam this fall.
