One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Sets Sail for Nintendo Switch

Nintendo Switch owners who want more anime on their console/handheld of choice will be glad to know that One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch via the North American eShop on May 10, followed by a European eShop release on May 11. The version that will be coming to the Switch is the Deluxe Edition, which means Switch owners won’t have to deal with a DLC piecemeal release model – just get the game and you’ll have all the content that the other platforms had to buy as DLC. It seems fair, given that they had to wait a bit to get their chance at shonen pirate-themed musou action.

If you are not familiar with the Pirate Warriors franchise, it is basically Dynasty Warriors with One Piece skin, which means it’s the most faithful you can get to replicating the large 1vsMany brawls that have occurred in the One Piece franchise. To understand what we are talking about, you can check out the announcement video below:

Neil Raymundo

A cowardly and treacherous Toonbarn blogger who can transform into a McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle. Secretly wants to replace Toonbarn Rob as leader of the Decepticons.
