9 Story Secures Raft of New Deals in Asia

9 Story Media Group has recently announced a number of new partnerships that they have secured across Asia for their award-winning library of kid and family-friendly content. The deals cover over 800 episodes licensed to broadcasters and content partners all across the region, featuring some of their most popular animated properties.

One of the lucky properties is Nature Cat (80 x 11), the first season of which has been picked up by Discovery Kids India. Nature Cat has already proven itself via a strong debut on PBS Kids last year. Singapore-based Mediacorp, on the other hand, acquired various seasons of different properties, including Peg + Cat, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Guess How Much I Love You – The Adventure of Little Nutbrown Hare, Wild Kratts and Nature Cat.

Thailand’s True Vision joins the new licensors by licensing Guess How Much I Love You (seasons 1 & 2) and Nature Cat. In Hong Kong, TVB secured the first two seasons of Guess How Much I Love You, Wild Kratts seasons 3 & 4 and season 3 of live-action science series Finding Stuff Out, while Deltamac acquired Angelina Ballerina seasons 3-6 and seasons 7 & 8 of Barney. And HiNET in Taiwan picked up Guess How Much I Love You season 2 and the first season of Peg + Cat.
