Australia’s 9Go! adds new Bakugan, Mega Man

Australian digital multi-channel broadcaster 9Go! will add Bakugan: Battle Planet and Mega Man: Fully Charged to its Go! Kids lineup this winter. Things kick off with a preview of the new Bakugan on Sunday, July 14th at 2:30PM. The CG-animated Fully Charged will join the channel’s daily morning lineup the following on the 15th at 7:30AM.

The 9Go! broadcast marks the first time Fully Charged has been available in Australia. The Dentsu, DHX and Man of Action’s Mega Man ‘toon recently premiered on Disney XD in South East Asia and debuted South Africa’s Showmax streaming service last month. The 52 x 11-minute series first launched last August on Cartoon Network in the United States, with DHX’s Family Chrgd starting the Canadian broadcast a month later. Sony’s British kids-net Pop picked up the show in October.

Bakugan: Battle Planet’s 9Go! run expands availability in the region. The show launched in Australia on April 6th, courtesy of pay-TV channel Cartoon Network. The 100 x 11-minute show has seen wide distribution, with Italian coverage similarly being expanded to the Boing channel earlier this month. The next stop appears to South Korea, where the show will launch on Tooniverse within the next few weeks. The Bakugan reboot first kicked off in North America last December.
