A new trailer has been released for Netflix’s award-winning mature animated comedy series BoJack Horseman. And it’s a somber one at that, heralding the genre-defining cartoon’s sixth and final season. The new episodes will start dropping on October 25, all the way to January 31.
The trailer shows BoJack writing a letter from rehab, retelling his journey and legacy. We also get a look at the overwhelmed working mom Carolyn, adrift Diane, and a surprise visitor for Todd. The trailer caps off with Mr. Peanutbutter getting an epiphany.
BoJack Horseman was created by Raphael Bob-Waksberg. The series is executive produced by Raphael Bob-Waksberg, Steven A. Cohen and Noel Bright. Will Arnett (Flaked, Arrested Development) and Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) also serve as executive producers. BoJack was designed by graphic artist Lisa Hanawalt (creator of Tuca & Bertie) and animated by L.A.-based ShadowMachine. The show is a Tornante Production, brought to life by Michael Eisner’s The Tornante Company.
