Funimation Goes Plus Ultra on October 12 with Season 4 of My Hero Academia
Fans of the shonen superhero franchise My Hero Academia better be prepared. Funimation will be premiering the fourth season of My Hero Academia on Saturday, October 12 via simulcast episodes that will stream day and date with the Japanese broadcast on both FunimationNow in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland and Australia, as well as Hulu. Simuldub episodes of the anime series will also stream in conjunction with the premiere.
To help keep fans up to date and refreshed on the story so far, all three previous seasons (both in sub and dub format) of My Hero Academia is now available on FunimationNow and Hulu, as well as in home video. My Hero Academia Season 3 Part 2 was released earlier this month in both DVD and Blu-ray/DVD Combo and is available now in the Funimation Shop.
Season 4 Synopsis: The villain world teeters on the brink of war now that All For One is out of the picture. Shigaraki of the League of Villains squares off with Overhaul of the yakuza, vying for total control of the shadows. Meanwhile, Deku gets tangled in another dangerous internship as he struggles to keep pace with his upperclassman — Mirio.
