The Hub to Premiere New Series: SheZow
The Hub is getting ready to premiere a new Australian-Canadian animated TV series titled SheZow, which was created by Obie Scott Wade and is aimed towards kids aged 6 to 11 years old. the series is produced by Moody Street Kids and Kickstart Productions. It is distributed by DHX Media, funded in part by Film Victoria and was designed by Australian artist Kyla May.
SheZow follows a 13 year old boy named Guy Hamdon, who happens upon a power ring owned by the superheroine SheZow, and puts it on. The ring gives him super powers, but it was only meant to be worn by a woman so it transforms Guy into a female superhero everytime he wears it. He then decides to take up the mantle of SheZow and starts fighting crime in her name.
