Ringling College of Art and Design Animates The HuB

The Department of Motion Design at Ringling College of Art and Design has recently spend 5 weeks to create a projected animation on the front facade of The HuB of Sarasota, serving as a highlight of the grand opening of their newly renovated 40 thousand sqft building at 1680 Fruitville Road. The projection was the handiwork of 24 students from Ringling and can be viewed directly via Youtube:

Motion Design is a professional career field that blends competencies in animation, graphic design, advertising, and filmmaking in order to produce design solutions that include movie opening sequences, interactive web interfaces, introductory graphics for sports broadcasts, and visually compelling advertising.

“It was appropriate that the HuB, as an incubator focused on creativity as the driver of new businesses, align with Ringling College on our grand opening as Ringling is educating the next generations of creatives. The Motion Design student team was able to grasp the nuances of what we wanted to communicate and where able to express in a visually compelling manner the vitality and energy of our organization,” says the HuB of Saratosa founder Rich Swier Jr.,
