WATCH: Singaporean Short Animated Film, Baozha!

In case you are in a hankering to see what the industry’s budding young animators are capable of, the beautifully crafted Singaporean student short film titled “Baozha!” has been released online, and it’s the full short film, not just the teaser so you’re getting the full story here.

The official synopsis:

“Tasked with protecting hapless old Granny, Baozha, a young guardian angel, escapes her mundane duties, using her Gameboy to live her dreams of being a hero. Despite her frequent lapses of concentration on the job, she always manages to save Granny in the nick of time. Unfortunately luck runs out as Baozha runs into a prickly situation…”

Baozha! holds the honor of having won Best Animated Film category at the National Youth Film Awards. The 2D short was directed by Jasper Liu and created by Jasper Liu, Bryan Goo and Jolene Cheng.
