Rainbow’s Winx Club will be flying to India trough a new deal with the leading national broadcaster Sun TV Network Ltd. for its kids’ entertainment channels. Four regional channels Kochu TV, Chintu TV, Kushi TV and Chutti TV will broadcast seasons 4 to 7 of the series starting in June across Southern India in 4 different languages.
The broadcast deal in India adds to the huge existing global audience of the hit Winx Club. The 2D animated series about a group of young adorable fairies combines themes of magic, fashion, adventure, friendship and comedy, which gives the show appeal to young girls ages 4-10, as well as teens and tweens. The series boasts more than 15 million viewers every day, thanks to its 150 broadcasters worldwide.
