Nickelodeon Launches New Rob Dyrdek’s Wild Grinders App: Downhill Grind

Nickelodeon has just launched a new action-packed mobile game based on Rob Dyrdek’s Wild Grinders animated series. Titled ‘Wild Grinders Downhill Grind,’ the mobile game is already available on iOS, Google Play, and Amazon-capable devices. The game is an endless downhill skate game that allows fans of the show to team up with the Wild Grinders crew and put their skateboarding skills to the test.

Wild Grinders Downhill Grind is made specifically for mobile devices and takes advantage of the touchscreen to provide intuitive swipe controls in order to grind and perform insane tricks throughout the levels. The game also introduces various power ups designed to give players a boost while going for the high score or unlocking new content such as levels, skateboards, characters, and more.

Homer Simpsons Sings Taylor Swift’s Shake it Off

There’s a nifty new web app called Crumbles, which basically allows people to create instant video mashups just by typing any phrase or sentence onto a form. As a way of promoting the app, the creators were probably torn between catering to fans of the Simpson or fans of Taylor Swift, so they just did the next best thing and created a mashup video of Homer singing along to Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off.”

Cartoon Network Launches New Micro-Network, Cartoon Network Anything

Cartoon Network has recently launched the micro-network Cartoon Network Anything, making them the first ever TV brand to debut a network specifically designed for the small screen. The app for CN Anything is free and available for download now on the App Store and Google Play, so you can have access to the micro-network whether you’re on iOS or Android (assuming you have a device that supports Google Play.)

Cartoon Network Anything will feature an ever expanding and ever changing library of content consisting of games, activities, trivia, and video specifically designed for short 10 to 15 second bursts of fun. After each piece of content, viewers simply swipe their screens in order to advance to the next piece. The content is delivered randomly so no two sessions will feel exactly the same.

Pokemon TCG Makes Its Way to iPad

As previously announced at the World Championships in Washington DC this summer, the online version of the Pokemon Trading Card Game has been launched on the iPad platform. This will be a big boon to fans of the iconic TCG that no longer have the ability to collect and store the cards (for a number of reasons, I’m sure.) The Pokemon TCG Online game lets players collect, trade, and play on their iPads instead of lugging a bunch of cards around.
