After all this waiting, we’re finally ready to take a trip to the other side! On September 13th, Nickelodeon finally welcomes Danny Phantom home to DVD in a collection from Shout! Factory, Danny Phantom: Season One. Twenty episodes are collected across four discs, offering all of the old school goodness you could hope for. Danny Phantom hits Nickelodeon DVD September 13th from Shout! Factory

Danny Fenton is a regular, good-natured, very-ordinary 14 year old teenage boy. Well, except for the extraordinary ectoplasmic portions of his DNA that give him ghost-like abilities. Sure, that. When specters, spooks, or even violent ghost-hunters threaten the world, Danny Fenton becomes Danny Phantom who, along with Tucker and Sam, helps repeatedly save the world as Nickelodeon’s own super hero. Now, Shout! Factory has worked with the Butch Hartman creation to ensure the entire first season will be available on DVD September 13th. Check out the full press release and box art, and get to heroing!

Shout! Factory brings Danny Phantom to Nickelodeon DVD

Shout! Factory brings Danny Phantom to Nickelodeon DVD

Later this fall, Nickelodeon gets a little spooky. A little ghosty. A little …uh… Phantom…y. Well, that doesn’t make any sense at all. What does make sense is the return to one of the greatest super hero toons of all time, Danny Phantom! The toon, which ran for 45 episodes from 2004-2007, was Butch Hartman’s toon before the Fairly OddParents. It followed Danny, a teenage half-ghost, who saves the world from enemy ghosts on a routine basis. Sounds kind of odd to those who aren’t lucky enough to have enjoyed the toon yet, but all we can say is; here’s your chance! Shout! Factory, Nelvana and Nick will bring Danny Phantom: Season 1 to DVD on September 13th

The Fairly OddParents go live-action in A Fairly Odd Movie, Grow Up Timmy Turner

The Fairly OddParents go live-action in A Fairly Odd Movie, Grow Up Timmy Turner

Fairly Odd Parents just celebrated its 10th anniversary, a major milestone for any toon. In addition to always being my favorite Nicktoon, there’s more to this post than picking favorites! Nickelodeon teamed up with Butch Hartman (the creator of Fairly OddParents) to bring us a live-action TV movie based on the world of this hilarious cartoon. Best of all, we’re just a month a way until the July 9th premiere on Nickelodeon!

Nickelodeon teases Tuff Puppy, from the makers of The Fairly OddParents

Dudley, a crime-fighting super hero, has everything going for him; strength, speed, agility, and a weakness for… BONES!!! Yeah, he’s not human, he’s a dog. A puppy, in fact. More specifically, a TUFF Puppy. Nickelodeon’s new T.U.F.F. Puppy series brings Dudley and his partner, Kitty Katswell, up against the world’s super villains, like Verminious Snaptrap and D.O.O.M. the Diabolical Order Of Mayhem. The toon, which is slated to launch on Nick in the next few weeks, was created by Butch Hartman, the guy behind The Fairly OddParents and Danny Phantom. Take a look at the teaser trailer and let us know if you’ll be watching this fall!

The Fairly OddParents and Nickelodeon present A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner

The Fairly OddParents and Nickelodeon present A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner

Imagine you’re a kid. Well, ok, that’s probably pretty easy. Now imagine you’ve also got magical fairy God Parents that will grant you all kinds of special wishes. Better, right? Now imagine that when you grow up, you lose those fairy guardians. Terrible! Well, that’s the challenge that Timmy faces with Nickelodeon presents the upcoming, future-set movie A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner. The special, a mix of live action and CG animation, takes Nick’s The Fairly OddParents animated series 13 years to the future, where Timmy is now 23, and refusing to grow up. Why? Because “Da Rules” say godchildren lose their fairies when they do, and Timmy would have to leave Cosmo and Wanda behind. We’ll get the sneak peeks when we can, and look for the debut of this movie next year, 2011.
