Marvel teases the Anime Iron Man

Marvel Entertainment Inc, home to a famous collection of super heroes, is working together with Madhouse, a Japanese animation studio, and Warren Ellis, an Eagle Award winning writer, to create four all new anime versions of classic Marvel Super Heroes. Since we started discussing this event, we’ve already gotten a look at the Wolverine anime, but now it’s Iron Man’s turn to shine! It should! Nickelodeon’s hit animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender is going to get the hollywood treatment in live-action form, thanks to M. Night Shyamalan, Nickelodeon Movies, and Paramount Pictures. The film, starring Noah Ringer, Nicola Peltz, and Jackson Rathbone, hits theaters on July 2nd, 2010, but those at the San Diego Comic-Con got to see an early teaser trailer …which you now can see too, after the break!

Wolverine invades Japan

Marvel Entertainment Inc., has partnered with renowned Japanese animation studio Madhouse and multiple-Eagle Award winner Warren Ellis to create four all new anime versions of classic Marvel Super Heroes: one of which is everyone’s favorite clawed mutant, Wolverine! We started talking about this almost a year ago, but now we can finally get a first glimpse of the work in progress, as Marvel releases a teaser trailer. Check it out after the break!

Dragon Ball Revenge of King Piccolo

Namco Bandai’s upcoming Dragon Ball game for the Nintendo Wii has made some great progress since the last time we previewed it. Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo is a platformer at its core. The game focuses on the Red Ribbon Army and Piccolo Daimao story arcs of the anime and manga series, all with a 2.5D perspective. The footage we see in the teaser below the break, which mashes together a few Japanese commercials for the game, gets us excited to play!

With the recent debut of the Pixar Disney film “Up”, the CG-toon specialist companies had a chance to debut a teaser trailer of an upcoming movie from, perhaps, their most famous franchise: Toy Story. Finally, we got our first glimpse of Toy Story 3, even though it was brief! At the very least, it was cool to see all the toys back together again; Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Bullseye, Mr. Potato Head, and the rest. It’s gonna be great! Check out the trailer after the break.

Bakugan video game coming to your console of choice

Activision has announced plans to release a Bakugan video game on pretty much every popular home console: Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, PS3, and PS2 (sorry PSP!). The NOW Production-developed game will be released this fall, and will feature “intense battles, the ability to create your own Brawler, cartoon quality graphics and multiplayer combat.” Check out the teaser after the break!
